In addition to its exceptional golf course, the Cardinal offers some of the finest tennis facilities found in the Piedmont Triad. The Cardinal Tennis & Pool Complex features six tennis courts, two of which are all-weather and four are clay surface. All courts are lighted with mercury vapor lamps to offer night play.
The Cardinal offers a variety of tennis programs and clinics for all ages and skill levels. These include Tennis Buddies (ages 4, 5, 6) through Tournament Juniors, and Beginning Adults through Team Play for the city championship. Come enjoy the sport for all ages.
COUPLES TENNIS
Social activities include Mixed Doubles Mixers and play for all levels on Sunday afternoons, frequently followed by twilight picnics. Couples Tennis Nights allow you and your partner time to be together with friendly competition amongst fellow Cardinal players.
JUNIOR TENNIS
Fun and learning are the themes of our after school and summer junior programs. Under the direction of our Professional Staff, our youngest players learn general athletic skills while having fun on the courts. Our more mature juniors work on a variety of skills and progressions to help them improve while having fun with the sport. Junior camp allows the opportunity for fun and concentrated instruction time. Our staff enhance training with video analysis, ball machines and personal instruction. |
